Kehlani Taps Keyshia Cole For “All Me”
After gifting fans with a new mixtape earlier this year with While We Wait, Kehlani would resume work on her upcoming album – which expected to arrive at some point next year – and led her voice to a few artists or two (i.e. Arin Ray and Teyana Taylor).
As most artists do nowadays, Kehlani began teasing some of the work that may or may not end up on the album’s final version. One of those songs saw fans go absolutely bonkers for as they continuously pressed her, for what would be two months now, to drop it.
With the hashtag #DropTheSongKehlani serving as the home base for pressure to listen, Kehlani heard the requests loud and clear coming through with what we now know as “All Me.”
As if the song itself wasn’t enough, it also comes with a phenomenal verse from none other than Keyshia Cole. Speaking on the song on Twitter, Kehlani thanked fans for making the song bigger than expected before its release.
i’ve never had a song hype like this before it dropped. i’ve never had this much energy for a musical release! this is so incredible. i just wanna say thank you, this is some really epic shit.
